Freema Agyeman has been spotted filming for Charles Dickens’ “Little Dorrit” at Deal Castle in Kent this past week with Matthew Macfayden. Freema plays Tattycoram in the BBC1 produced costume drama adapted by Andrew Davies, which will be shown in autumn as 14 half-hour episodes.

There will be a Doctor Who themed event at the Henry Wood Proms this year at Royal Albert Hall, where Freema will host (and Daleks & Cybermen will invade!) The concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio3 and BBC2 - tickets cost about £5.

The BBC have now all but formally stated that the 5th is most likely the start date for Doctor Who series 4 in the UK, which would make Freema’s first return as Martha Jones in episode 4 on 26th April. They have moved up the “cinema trailer” ...
The BBC has yet to announce a start date for Doctor Who Series 4 in the UK (widely speculated to be 12th April) however the American SciFi network has now listed Friday, 18th April for the first episode (likely to be “Voyage of the Damned”).
If they maintain that schedule, it would make Freema Agyeman’s stateside return as Martha ...

She’s only in there for a moment but you can see her more clearly in the replay at the end.
In a brief interview in the Sunday Telegraph’s Seven magazine, Freema Agyeman says:
“[Martha Jones] still has her interest in alien life, but wants to keep her feet firmly on planet Earth.”
So this might sound disappointing at first to fans but maybe there’s an interesting reason for Martha wanting to stay “home”?
